Digital Strategy Manager/ Marketing Manager

CoServe, national talent placement and solutions firm, has partnered exclusively with a global manufacturing firm to identify and assist in hiring a full-time Digital Strategy Manager / Marketing Manager to be the driver behind their digital marketing and communications transformation. 

This position is part of ESAB’s Global MarCom team; the main responsibility is to deliver digital marketing strategies and digital experience strategies to support ESAB’s strategic marketing efforts. Must be the driver of digital marketing transformation (redesign of website, lead the effort for on-line sales, etc).

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Own the vision and development of our client's MarCom digital roadmap with the goal of generating leads and creating engaging digital experiences for current customers and end-users
  • Drive digital properties to desired future state and future proofing our client’s digital footprint
  • Lead the digital marketing strategy for product launch campaigns and ongoing marketing efforts
  • Define, lead, and manage web and mobile experiences that engage prospects, current customers and end-users
  • Ensure that the internal teams are delivering a sound user experience backed by experience, research, and trends
  • Define metrics to measure success of digital strategies
  • Manage the MarCom content and development team
  • Provide support, coaching, professional development, and training to staff
  • Help with evaluating digital tools used by our client’s MarCom team
  • Work closely with IT for digital tools selection and integration into the technology infrastructure
  • Drive high-level discussions on the role of digital within the total enterprise ecosystem
  • Help with the ongoing evolution of frameworks and methodologies for approaching digital assignments within the Global MarCom team

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10 years of experience in digital marketing or strategic marketing consulting
  • Strong experience in managing and developing a successful team
  • Strong knowledge of user experience and user interface design
  • Strong knowledge of digital tactics (web, mobile, paid search, SEO, display advertising, content strategy, email marketing, social media, etc.)
  • Strong familiarity with marketing technology tools, such as content management systems, customer relationship management, email blasts, etc.
  • Strong familiarity with Agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Strong familiarity with digital metrics and analytics
  • Strong familiarity with web and mobile development a plus
  • Strong familiarity with e-commerce platforms and strategies a plus

Mobility & Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel is required

Education Requirements:

Relevant university degree within marketing or business

The ability to fully understand how various digital tactics, digital channels, and marketing tools work together to create a cohesive digital strategy that generates leads and increases brand loyalty, while providing a favorable return on investment. The ability to provide the necessary leadership to elevate our client's overall digital knowledge.
