Overview

Our growing company is seeking to hire a Blaser (Production Operator) at our Beaver Dam East location. As an employee/owner at MEC, you will be responsible for using high-pressure equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for painting.

A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:

* Shovels or pours abrasives such as sand, grit, or shot specified into machine.
* Masks specified areas of object to protect from erosion.
* Loads parts in enclosed rooms, tumbling barrels, or cabinets.
* Starts equipment that directs blast or flow of compressed air over surface of parts.
* Directs nozzle over surface of large parts or inserts arms through glove fitted cabinet openings and manipulates small parts under nozzle for specified intervals.
* Examines finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
* Responsible for transacting parts on the computer.
* Responsible for applying rust preventative, banding/packing skids, and verifying part count.
* Moving product in/out of work area using forklift.
* Properly prepare abrasive media waste for transport.
* Keep records up to date on daily logs.
* All other duties assigned.

What Does It Take to Be a Fit for This Role?

* One-three months of related experience is preferred.
* Must be able to read blueprints, work orders, and follow instructions.
* Must be willing to get respirator trained.
* Must have some forklift driving experience.
