US Tech Solutions Miami, FL (Remote) Full-Time

Title: SAP BRIM/S4 Financial Systems Analyst

Duration: 3+ Months Contract

Location: Lake Buena Vista FL 32830/Remote


This Senior Financial Systems Analyst will execute Financial Systems deliverables to ensure the successful conversion/migration of MPM financial information to SAP S4. This role will partner with Controllership and Technology through the S4 pre-conversion work for MPM to document system requirements, manage project issues and risks and ensure correct Accounting processes and controls are covered.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate MPM information to identify potential data cleansing/archiving opportunities based on defined criteria for Controllership decision
  • Synthesize the field requirements/usage gathered to create a comprehensive requirements document for review/approval by Client tech and Controllership
  • Create and execute system integration testing (SIT) conversion/reconciliation test scenarios to validate the field mapping in the initial S4 sandbox environment
  • Create the user acceptance testing (UAT) regression test scenarios for boundary systems to be prepared
  • Create the user acceptance testing (UAT) regression test scenarios for internal SAP jobs and tables with MPM data
  • Document the current state MPM creation process/policies; assist in assessing future state impacts
  • Ensure business warehouse (BW) reporting work stream is aware of field/job/table updates that may impact critical financial reporting
  • Ensure FP&A MPM requirements are considered and satisfied in the MPM decisions, configuration, and testing
  • Support change management efforts through documentation and training
  • This role is in the Financial Systems Enterprise organization and will require accounting background to ensure financial integrity and controls are delivered. The incumbent will partner closely with Finance areas to achieve best practice solutions and efficiencies and will work with business partners in Technology to jointly deliver the solution.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3- 5 years of demonstrated high-level professional knowledge and skills in finance systems and processes.
  • Experience working for large company and within a matrix organization
  • Passion for and knowledge of emerging technologies to deliver best practice ensuring financial systems integrity and controls
  • Expert knowledge/experience in Financial Systems and area for business and technical audiences
  • Experience supporting change for projects that encompass SAP boundary systems
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborate, establish relationships and build credibility with internal clients and to navigate organizational structures
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking and project management skills to manage workload from logistics to strategic efforts, while adhering to deadlines and high quality
  • Demonstrated self-starter
  • Ability to work effectively remotely
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and adapt to different audiences and clients
  • Ability to develop a logical and persuasive approach and outline for a presentation/”deck”

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or CMA license, or equivalent
  • PMP or other professional project management certification
  • Six Sigma certification
  • Experience in using SAP or another ERP
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong business acumen
  • Experience implementing financial processes and systems
  • Experience using systems designed to manage issues, changes and testing (e.g. Service Manager, Rational Team Concert, ALM)
  • Experienced in using the Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
  • Experience in using Business Warehouse, Business Objects, or other reporting tools
  • Experience developing and delivering end user training

Required Education

  • BA/BS in Acctg., Fin., Bus., IT or related
