The position will provide Microsoft Windows and Apple OS support for the unit in the Technology Department assigned to troubleshoot and deploy computer equipment and software. The position will provide computer-related services and support to users, perform system administration tasks, perform hardware and software technical reviews and evaluations, coordinate project requirements with departments, and perform other duties as required. The technician’s responsibility includes building or configuring new hardware, installing and updating software in a largescale environment.
Knowledge and expertise in the following:
Microsoft Windows 10
Microsoft Office 2016
Basic Active Directory
Basic Networking
PC/ Laptop/ Thin Client Support
Printing Support
Deploying images on a large scale deployment.
Basic Citrix Support
Exchange Experience
Proficient in Apple Operating Systems

Responsibilities:
  • Proficient in Apple Operating Systems
  • Hands on installations and troubleshooting, upgrade, and support authorized desktop applications and provide post deployment support for Desktop / Laptop and Thin
  • Client devices in the organizations environment.
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware and any other authorized peripheral equipment
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to end-users who need assistance with their computer hardware or software.
  • Work with Windows 10 deployment project team, System and Network Administrators to install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Desktop/ laptops and Thin Client devices with Windows 10/ Office 2016.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • PC support technician must possess a strong analytical and problem solving attitude or skills.
  • Has ability to deploy on a large scale, support and resolve any computer problems encountered during deployments.
  • Familiar with networking protocols like TCP/IP and networking concepts and experience with Ethernet cabling.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows XP/7/8/Mobile 5desktop operating systems,
  • Microsoft Office 2003/2007/2010, Microsoft Suite, Exchange/Outlook 2010/2013 email
  • Microsoft Office 2016

  • PC/ Laptop/ Thin Client Support
  • Printing Support
