At FanDuel, our principle of “We Are One Team” runs through all our offices across the globe, and you can expect to be a part of an exciting company with many opportunities to grow and be successful.THE POSITIONOur roster has an opening with your name on itFanDuel is seeking a Senior Tax Manager who will join our growing Tax team.  In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the FanDuel US and PokerStars US groups.  The Senior Tax Manager will support tax compliance, tax provisioning, transfer pricing, research, and tax planning.  You will have the opportunity to build and refine complex tax workpapers and financial models, and assist with the building, implementation, and maintenance of automation within the function (e.g., Alteryx, RPA, etc.).
This role will also require the Senior Tax Manager to work closely with business functions throughout the company as well as regularly partnering with the International Tax team at Flutter Entertainment.This role represents an exciting opportunity to help shape the tax positions and processes across both US operating groups and the online gaming industry at large in a fast-paced and rapidly growing marketplace.THE GAME PLANEveryone on our team has a part to playPartner with the Flutter Tax team to maintain transfer pricing policies and FanDuel’s annual transfer pricing documentation (e.g., Section 6662 documentation)Manage operational transfer pricing, including the review and oversight of the monthly, quarterly, and annual calculationsWork closely with the Accounting, Flutter Tax, and Flutter Treasury teams to manage intercompany funding requirements, including cash contributions and repatriation strategiesMaintain the company’s earnings and profits calculationsManage and assist with evaluating the tax implications of potential business initiatives and M&A targetsManage international tax filing footprint and own international tax filing requirementsReview foreign income tax provisions for all foreign subsidiaries in the FanDuel, PokerStars, and Junglee Games consolidated group prepared by the Flutter Tax teamReview international tax forms for FanDuel, PokerStars, and Junglee Games consolidated group, including Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, 1118, 8990, 8991, 8992, and 8993, & 1120FMonitor international tax developments and work closely with the Tax leadership and Flutter Tax teams on interpreting proposed and/or new tax legislation, Treasury regulations, and other guidancePrepare and maintain documentation required to obtain preferential withholding tax rates under treaties between the U.S.
and foreign countries including obtaining tax certifications from the IRSAssist with employee mobility and cross border travel policies from a tax perspective to ensure compliance with FanDuel and Flutter’s tax and HR policiesLiaise with tax and regulatory authoritiesCollaborate to identify and implement potential process improvements across the entire Tax functionAssist with the VP of Tax’s strategy workstreams that sit outside the Tax functionTHE STATSWhat we're looking for in our next teammateBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with CPA certification or Juris Doctorate (JD)8-11 years of professional US corporate tax experience (preferably a combination of public accounting firm and private company experience)Demonstrates intimate knowledge and/or a proven record of international tax concepts, Transfer Pricing, and foreign tax mattersBeing a self-starter with the ability to bring strong analytical rigor to decision-making with a focus on getting the right answerStreamlining cross-departmental ways of working and collaboration in pursuit of common company goalsStrong Excel skills with a desire to continually maintain and improve those skillsOpenness to learning about new areas of tax and financial reporting (via internal trainings and continuing professional education courses)   Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfort with presenting to senior tax and non-tax business stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications and Industry Experience:Master’s Degree in Tax or Accounting or LL.M.

This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation.
This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays.
