Job Description

Apex Life Sciences is Looking for and Part-Time Lab Technician in the Cuyahoga Falls Area!!  APPLY TODAY!   

Working between 24 - 32 hours per week.  2 weekdays and 1 weekend day.

Job Duties: 

  • Quality of incoming materials and manufactured goods 
  • Quality Compliance with our clients' quality practices and operating procedures 
  • Out of Specification Results Investigation and corrective action capability 
  • Support procedures and practices that result in quality product being received, produced and used by our customers 
  • Maintains a safe working environment and follows all safety procedures. 
  • Performs testing of materials and evaluates results against established criteria. 
  • Provides accurate, timely communication of analytical test results. 
  • Investigates and implements corrective action for out of specification results. 
  • Responds to ‘out of specification’ situations and initiates action to minimize business risk. 
  • Maintains database of testing, analysis and results. 
  • Participates in team activities as assigned to improve a product or process or in response to customer complaints. 
  • Communicates potential quality issues identified during testing. 
  • Maintains good housekeeping in work areas. 
  • Facilitates and/or implements standards and specifications. 
  • Facilitates and/or implements test methods, procedures and analyses as needed. 

Additional Tasks: 

  • Preparing written documentation of suspect quality and/or rejected materials 
  • Participation on cross-functional New Product, Process or Problem Solving Teams 
  • Collecting data for Quality Control Scorecard Measures 
  • Performing and/or providing support for method and process validation 
  • Collaboration with suppliers to resolve out of specification results on materials 


Education/Experience: 

Minimum of two (2) years of technical education, prefer one year of college chemistry and/or two (2) years work experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control or in a manufacturing environment.
