REACH ADULT CASE MANAGER, FULL TIME, CHARLOTTESVILLE
Multiple openings, shifts, and locations needed. Various locations including Staunton, Winchester, Culpeper, Lynchburg, Fredericksburg, and Charlottesville. Applicants must live in the catchment area for which they are applying. The REACH child and adolescent clinician will be located in the Alleghany Highlands (AHCS)/Rockbridge Area (RACS)/Valley CSB (VCSB) catchment areas and serves as a Region 1 Regional Education Assessment Crisis Services Habilitation (REACH) Clinician for adults and children with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs in addition to those presenting with challenging behaviors (DD/BH) residing in Developmental Services Region I of Virginia which covers the nine Community Services Boards (CSBs) within Region 1.
This position is responsible for crisis response requiring de-escalation, clinical and coordination services, assessments, developing and implementing Crisis Education Prevention Plans (CEPP), linkage to other services, follow-up, and crisis stabilization services. This position has shared responsibility as Primary and Secondary On-Call Clinician which provides a rotating 24/7/365 crisis line, including on-site response. Salary $20.02/hr. Negotiable.
This position serves the AHCS/RACS/VCSB catchment areas and requires the clinician to work with their area CSBs as well as other providers to meet the needs of their co-locations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP or QMHP-T)– minimum of Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field from an accredited institution and no less than one year of full-time relevant experience. Master’s Degree in a human service field (counseling, special education, psychology, social work, or closely related field) preferred. Valid Virginia Driver's License plus an acceptable driving record as issued by the Division of Motor Vehicles is required. The incumbent must be able to perform all essential duties.
This position does require travel for mobile crisis responses, and occasional trainings and meetings.
POSITION LOCATION:
Travel throughout Region 1 with office location on campus of Region Ten CSB.
SALARY:
Grade 9
SCHEDULE:
40 hours weekly
