Heavy Equipment Mechanic
SiteWORX is looking to add a high caliber Service Mechanic to our Growing Team!
What you will be doing:
- Contributing to a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
- Perform preventive maintenance services on heavy equipment and trucks.
- Diagnose and repair heavy equipment and trucks located at our shop or on jobsites located in the Greater Cincinnati region. The Fleet consists of 100+ late model Cat, John Deere, and Komatsu heavy equipment, and 50+ Ford and Peterbilt trucks.
- Light metal fabricating and welding.
- Properly fill out repair tickets describing the work performed and parts used.
- Communicate with the service coordinator about the status of services and repairs.
- Experienced in diagnosis and repair of heavy equipment and trucks in the following areas:
- Engine, Hydraulics, Driveline components, Undercarriages, Fuel Systems, Emissions systems, Electrical and wiring.
- Detail Oriented, thorough with all work tasks.
- Problem solving skills.
- Organizational skills - Service truck and work area clean and organized.
- Self-Motivated - Fast paced can do attitude.
- Ethical - Always doing the right thing and telling the truth.
- Reliable - Great attendance and willingness to do whatever is needed to keep the fleet productive.
- 3 years' service mechanic experience
- Broad mechanical knowledge
- Good computer skills
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to meet physical demands of the position; ability to lift over 50 pounds, walk on uneven surfaces, stand for periods of time, bending, kneeling and work in all weather conditions.
- Must pass a Pre-Employment drug screening and Randoms as we are a Drug Free Workplace.
