05 IT Manager

Adams and Associates, Inc. Glenmont, NY Full Time

Oversees and manages all information technology systems (including telephone systems) for the Center, ensuring that staff and students have the IT resources required for and relevant to their jobs and training. Monitors and manages internal control systems to ensure data integrity, tracking and related quality assurance activities. This includes staff/student access, data security, corruption and contamination controls.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors Degree from an accredited school in Information Technology, Project Management, Network Management or related field required. Two to four years experience in a multi-user system environment applying and adapting concepts, practices and procedures related to IT. Knowledge of Citrix and basic database principles preferred. Network certification preferred. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.

MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISION:

Supervises the IT Assistant and/or Job Corps’ Work-Based Learning and Leisure Time Student Workers assigned to the department.
