Job Details

  • Responsible for the sales of merchant services tailored to provide bankcard authorization and settlement services to merchants nationwide.
  • Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective merchant(s) through a relationship-based approach.
  • Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential merchant(s) and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
  • Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from larger competitors.
  • Develop and maintain existing product knowledge and sales materials.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
  • Able to communicate well to explain complex issues, receive and interpret complex information and respond appropriately
  • Computer skills including the ability to use spreadsheet and word processing programs at a proficient level
  • Comfortable making outbound cold calls daily ( Call center experience a plus!)

  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Experience using Word, Excel, and Outlook software applications
