Overview: Railhead, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates to join our Defense Enclave Services team, who will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies. We are actively seeking a Staff Systems Solutions Engineer (SE), who will play a critical role in building and sustaining customer relationships while driving the adoption of innovative solutions to achieve mission-based outcomes. Responsibilities: - Participates in Due Diligence and Site Survey activities across a breadth of technologies and services.
- Creates workflow diagrams documenting performance area service value chains & technology mission threads to identify service delivery hand-offs and bottlenecks.
- Evaluates architectures and processes for opportunities for meaningful and measurable improvements.
- Develops and reviews Technical Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and other deliverables.
- Works across organizational lines to provide technical input across contract deliverables.
- Supports development of product/service roadmaps.
- Present and advocate for the design and value of a proposed solution with business case to customer stakeholders.
- Continued learning about VMware Tanzu products through self-study, collaboration with peers, and organizational training. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field, or equivalent experience and certifications.
- 5+ years hands-on experience designing or implementing solutions.
- Understanding of cloud-native design and agile software delivery principles.
- Experience presenting technology solutions to small and large audiences.
- Analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps.
- Effective in working both independently and in a team setting.
