Purpose The purpose of this position is to support sales and client retention through excellent customer service. The Account Manager role is intended to serve as the primary contact for all matters outside of payroll, and resolving issues and concerns submitted by internal and external customers. Essential Duties

  • Provides excellent customer service by taking inbound correspondence, calls and emails from clients and brokers, and responds appropriately to ensure satisfaction.
  • Builds and maintains a client relationship to help improve client rapport, client experience and satisfaction.
  • Facilitates client requests with internal departments and ensures the request is completed timely and to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Supports clients and internal teams with use of our technology platforms.
  • Project manage complex accounts to ensure all of their needs are met.
  • Manage and facilitate conflict resolution with our clients, brokers, and internal team members.
  • Reviews and follows up on client cases on a daily basis.
  • Works with clients, brokers, and other departments to provide superior customer service and retain accounts.
  • Records case notes in case management software (Netwise).
  • Processes statistical data regarding operational transactions.
  • Assists with special or on-going projects.

  • Knowledge of company services and products.
  • Knowledge of modern office methods, technology platforms and procedures. 
  • Ability to listen carefully and respond to or refer customer requests and problems with diplomacy.
  • Ability to look for opportunities to apply new ideas, methods, designs, and technologies.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Skill to be organized, give attention to detail, exercise follow up, and possess a sense of urgency.
  • Skill to effectively plan, organize,  prioritize work assignments to meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
  • Skill to use and compose clear, comprehensive, and accurate verbal and written communication and reports.

Minimum Requirements

  • Two (2) years of related customer service experience.
  • High school education or equivalent.
