P3 Aircraft Aviation Structural Mechanic (A&P licensed) with Security Clearance
Perform efforts associated with sealing, painting, shimming, and preserving structure in accordance with standard repair processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties of this position will include the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) of the following systems: Use a range of tools, including precision measuring equipment and hand tools, to complete task.
Perform part-fitting operations such as filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling, and reaming.
This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 50 pounds and working overhead.
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize work to accomplish multiple assigned tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Inspects the adjustments, repairs, or modifications made to aircraft components, sub- assemblies, and final product.
Ability to analyze and evaluate information, identify, and prioritize problems, and generate and implement solutions.
Manufactures jigs, fixtures, forms, and molds.
Inspects structures and components and determines operational status.
Ability to work in team-oriented environment and work on a variety of projects simultaneously.
Work requires strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Identify parts required and raise purchase request.
Determine the proper corrective actions required to rectify discrepancies.
Requirements Minimum Requirements Experience: Minimum 2+ years as an Aviation Structural Mechanic Demonstrate the capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modification/repair.
Education: Minimum High School Degree Aircraft Structural Mechanic Course Graduate A&P license Clearance: SECRET Active/Current Special Note The position is contingent upon candidate's ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.

Salary
The projected compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $170,000 (annualized USD).
The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
