Description:

*Direct and oversee a team, or teams, of leaders and/or Colleagues who are responsible for routine to moderately complex work tasks (examples may include flex and supplemental claim processing, routine billing and account administration) within multiple areas of an Operational team or department; work with Director, Team Leaders and other Colleagues to set and manage goals and performance expectations which support accurate, fair service and the timely completion of work duties which comply with state and federal regulations;

*Actively manage staff and use of resources; analyze workloads and identify service trends which may detract from Delighting the Customer. Develop Team Leaders and other direct reports within area of responsibility, giving appropriate feedback to Colleagues on their performance to ensure strengths are reinforced and areas needing improvement are appropriately addressed; hold Team Leaders accountable for Colleague development within their area of responsibility.

*Demonstrate good judgement and collaborate with other leaders to develop standardized processes and procedures which focus on providing a high level of service to internal and external Customers, work with other Managers and/or Directors to help identify process inefficiencies and areas of improvement; mentor/motivate Colleagues to provide superior service.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • 3 years of proven leadership in lieu of bachelor degree
  • Excellent, oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent, interpersonal and consultative skills
  • Strong administrative competence
  • Strong analytical and multi-tasking ability
  • Strong technical and tactical skills to include diplomacy
  • Strong decision making ability
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficient with Windows based software and easily adapts to new software/technology
  • Strong leadership, coaching and feedback skills
  • Strong ability to identify, develop and/or standardize processes or procedures which support the organization's overall mission
  • Prompt, reliable and professional attitude and appearance
  • May require knowledge of FINRA/SEC, S125 IRS rules and regulations
  • May require knowledge of Supplemental Medical and/or FSA/HRA/DDC claim processing
