WAREHOUSE/ASSET INVENTORY SPECIALIST (JBPHH-19-1784-W):

•**Position is contingent on contract award***

Bowhead Marine Support Services (BMSS) seeks an experienced Warehouse/asset inventory specialist/Logistician to join our team in Pearl Harbor, HI. The Logistician will be responsible for a receiving, delivering, shipping relocating, storing and dismantling assets and equipment used in their processes. Qualified individuals will have experience with all aspects of Supply Management to include inspecting packages prior to accepting and ensuring all appropriate signatures are collected for material receipts that will be provided to government personnel. Tracking and reporting of Government assets will be a key function of the position.

Essential functions will include:

•Assisting shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in products or materials. Will generate DD1149 shipping documents and must have prior experience doing so. Experience with Item Unique Identification Marking.

•Preparing orders by processing requests, pulling orders, packing boxes and transporting packages to the shipping area.

•Sorting and placing warehouse items, as directed by organizational standards.

•Maintaining inventory controls.

•Preparing packages for mailing.

•Ensuring clean and safe working environment.

• Qualified candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and will operate forklifts to load and unload products.
• Bachelor's Degree and two to five (2-5) years logistics or supply chain management from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Five years experience in the boat supply chain management and process.

• Valid Driver’s License is required. Forklift Operator experience is required.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs, work may be indoors or outdoors. Warehouses are not necessarily climate-controlled, expect to work in the heat or cold.

• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint .

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.

• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team


SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance at the Secret level.
