The Customer Service Representative is responsible for supporting the international and domestic Marketing companies to ensure timely order entry and fulfillment. The Customer Service Representative serves as the link between the warehouse operations and Marketing Companies.
Responsible for all correspondence, quotations, placement of orders, credit memos, and customer service to our International Marketing Companies.
Review customers purchase orders for any deviation from quote and
Claim management (Returns)
Should be familiar with ITAR rules and regulations.
Support our domestic Marketing Companies to resolve issues within the order fulfillment process from our Logistics Center.
Expediting shipments to support on time delivery.
Develop, manage, and process export shipping documentation (NAFTA, SLI, SED,...) and coordinate with shipping department to ensure proper delivery
Special Projects as needed
Review/up-date customer files to ensure that proper certs, test reports, etc. are included.
Responsible for OTD to all International Marketing Companies.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required. Associates or higher in Business Administration or relevant degree preferred.
Minimum 1 year experience in customer service and international shipping is required.
Able to work in a fast paced environment.
Must be highly organized.
High level of accuracy.
Excellent problem solving, and strong communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
JD Edwards experience advantageous
Able to disseminate information and action
Comfortable Communicating with International Colleagues
Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs.
