The DataEntry Records Supervisor is a working supervisor that will manage employeesand workloads for document room activities including, but not limited to,scanning, document processing, data entry, paper and electronic file management,communication, training support, and quality control.

Duties andResponsibilities:

  • Serveas the SME for direct inquiries on processes, rules, and potential issues thatarise from data entry of manifests for all team members.
  • Stayup-to-date with all process changes and modifications from the customer and efficientlydisseminate changes to team in a timely manner.
  • Overseea team that produces an individual average of 40 manifests per clerk per dayand ensure quotas and goals are met or exceeded daily.
  • Monitortime and efficiency to effectively establish and maintain daily productivity.
  • Performquality control reviews of the work performed and condition of paper andelectronic record keeping systems and develop process improvement as required.
  • Recommendand contribute to the development of continual process improvements to improveefficiency, accessibility, accuracy, etc.
  • Organizeand direct shelf-reading and other quality reviews and in electronic recordkeeping systems.
  • Superviseoperations and assigned staff; investigate and resolve employee disputes; trainnew staff; ensure positive customer service of staff.
  • Ascertainand report issues, difficulties and special needs to management.
  • Workdirectly with staff to obtain determination of final disposition of information.
  • Responsiblefor ensuring that the work performed is at a level of quality, schedule, andcost that is consistent with the expectations of the customer.
  • Completeall required daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements independently.
  • Follow,administer and execute all tenets of the Chenega Employee Reference Guide toinclude progressive discipline procedures fairly and consistently.
  • Supervise,train and evaluates records management staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordancewith Chenega policies and applicable laws.
  • Interface with management and personnel tocoordinate and execute special projects and / or research with respect tospecial collections of records, their organization, identification, use, andtracking;
  • Verifyall file requestors to ensure that they are employees.

  • Manageteam member timecards, performance evaluations and participate in the hiringand termination process.

MinimumQualifications: (Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Associates Degree preferred
  • 2 years of experience in a service related area or production environment
  • 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team leading role
  • Someexperience with data and reporting
  • Mustpossess a valid driver’s license

Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities:

  • Priormilitary experience in personnel or documentation management is a plus
  • Demonstrateexcellent verbal and written English communications skills with the ability tocorrespond with professional staff and interact tactfully with Governmentstaff.
  • Abilityto read and understand complex sets of procedures and other documentation.
  • Applicantmust have the ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a team environment.
  • Workwell under pressure and stressful situations; exhibit emotional control.
  • Stronginterpersonal, conflict management and organizational skills.

  • Whileperforming the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sitand talk or hear.   • The employee will normally work ina temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure toelectronic office equipment.
  • During visits to areas ofoperations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborneparticles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
