Role Overview:
Ironclad Defense Works is seeking a skilled Program Management Contractor to provide comprehensive support to NATO’s Capability Development Office. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, delivering, and managing training programs that enhance the program management skills of NATO personnel. Your contributions will directly support NATO’s capability development objectives by ensuring that its staff is proficient in the latest program management methodologies and frameworks.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior NATO leadership, project managers, and cross-functional teams to align training initiatives with NATO’s strategic goals. You will also play a pivotal role in shaping program management practices within NATO, contributing to the continuous improvement of its operational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Development: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs in program management for NATO personnel, including creating course content, training materials, and hands-on workshops.
- Capability Development Support: Work closely with NATO’s Capability Development Office to ensure that program management training aligns with NATO’s overall capability development goals.
- Training Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed training documentation, including manuals, guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Compliance & Framework Adherence: Ensure all program management training initiatives adhere to NATO’s Capability Development guidelines.
- Program Office Support: Assist the Program Management Office (PMO) with the development of key deliverables, including project plans and progress reports.
- Performance Evaluation & Reporting: Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through regular assessments and feedback.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with other NATO departments and international partners.
- Mentorship & Coaching: Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to NATO personnel.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in program management, business administration, project management, or a related field is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, with specific experience in training and development.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in NATO’s program management frameworks and experience using project management tools.
- Certification: A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Training Development Skills: Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deliver training programs.
- Communication & Leadership: Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Security Clearance: Active Secret security clearance.
