Advancement Administrator
The role will play a key part in keeping the division organized and within deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Every Home for Christ
- Adheres to the Biblical standards of moral conduct, Every Home vision statement, Every Home statement of faith, Every Home's Employee standards and policies, Every Home's Covenant of Harmony, Every Home statement on Christian Community, and upholds Every Home for Christ's ministry in prayer.
- Responsible for effective, Christ-like communication within team and across departments as well as external communication
- Provide administrative/logistics assistance to the Chief Advancement Officer and Sr Director of Marketing and all subdepartments
- Answers, evaluates and prioritizes incoming telephone, voicemail, e-mail, and in-person requests.
- Assists with coordination and scheduling of meetings.
- Attend all Advancement and Marketing meetings and take accurate minutes with appropriate follow up
- Prepares monthly expense reports, reimbursements, check/cash requests, purchase orders on behalf of each department
- Responsible for utilizing fundraising software to generate regular or ad hoc reports
- Collaborate on monthly Content briefs and advertising schedules and create documentation
- Assist with streamlining internal asset creation.
- Create effective internal communication channels to communicate action items and meeting resolutions within the department and across the organization
- Produce quality presentations and briefs as required/requested
- Maintain high level of confidentiality
- Participate and assist with all events
- Assist with project planning and strategies: objectives, timelines, budgets.
- Under the direction of Sr Director of Marketing, coordinate teams for collaboration, communication.
- Assist with the organization of resources, department information, materials.
- Monitor timelines, own project management tool, address delays promptly.
- Following established guidelines, assists with ensuring quality standards in campaign execution.
- Analyze campaign performance, provide insights, manage results reports.
- Communicate with team, field officers, manage relationships.
- Optimize processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Regularly attends/participates in a local church
- Education: Associates degree
- Experience: 2-3 years experience as an executive administrator or project manager
- Certifications/Licensing: CAPM certification is a plus, but not required
- Possess the desire to spread the Gospel
- Demonstrates a passion for the mission of Every Home for Christ
- Unquestionable integrity and financial stewardship, all with Every Home for Christ's best interest in mind
- Strong commitment to the ethical handling and management of donor information
- Demonstrates high degree of integrity and discretion
- Excellent customer service skills with a servant's heart - values people
- Maintains high levels of confidentiality, not engaging in gossip
- Acute attention to detail.
- Exemplary planning and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks appropriately
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter, strong ability to understand needs of those around them and be self-motivated to initiate successful solutions
- Works well in a team environment; is an asset to collaboration internally and externally
- Proven ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work well with others under tight deadlines, high quality standards and last-minute changes.
- Strong ability to establish and maintain good, healthy working relationships internally and externally
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize activities.
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Blackbaud and project management system experience
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations quickly
- Occasional domestic/international travel
