Project/Construction Manager II
As a Project and Construction Management Professional, youll join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery. Here's What You'll Need:
Preferred but not required an Associates or Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineer (PE), or Project Management Professional (PMP) is desirable.
In leu of degree, a proven 12 + years of experience in managing construction projects as a Project Manager and Construction Manager related to industrial manufacturing, pulp/paper, converting, food & beverage, petro-chemical and/or pharmaceutical.
Proven track record of executing EPCM projects; Supporting design and client teams from conception through pre-design and pre-construction. Support project field execution of structural, civil, utilities, equipment installation and oversee construction turnover, check-out, commissioning and start-up.
Demonstrated expert knowledge of Civil, Structural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, piping and Plumbing) systems, with an emphasis full project delivery.
OSHA 30hr training (preferably within last 3 years), or willing to achieve within 60days of employment.
Commitment to working safely and demonstrating that safe execution of projects is your primary responsibility.
Management and leadership of construction administration, client relationships, trade contractors and project controls activities.
Manages on site construction functions in accordance with the established policies, procedures, and client approved requirements
Oversee the project schedules. Experience with interpreting and managing Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is desirable.
Experience with Prolog and Procore is desirable.
Manage cost to schedule as a client representative Project Manager/Construction Manager.
Manage the quality of installed work for conformity to project documents and client standards.
Review and confirm change notices CNs from trade partners and vendors, managing the Change Notice Log and generating Change Notices to the client.

Ideally, youll have:
Experience working in an operating production/manufacturing environment and demonstrated knowledge of relative procedures.
Ability to navigate and communicate with cross-functional teams and project stakeholders.
Understands GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), particularly related to FDA regulations
Ability to manage several capital projects at one time ranging from $100,000 to $30 MM.
Lead a Jacobs on-site and remote team of approximately 20 individuals from varying departments including but not limited to: Engineering, Check-out/Start-up/Turnaround, Procurement, HSE, Quality, Field Supervision, Project Controls, Document Controls, etc. to oversee the contracting companies that are executing our EPCM projects.
Reaching for, handling, and manipulating objects and materials in all directions.
Coordinating eyes, hands and fingers and body in and around active construction and operations areas
Standing and walking for periods of time.
Seeing and hearing with or without correction.
Climbing and egressing step ladders, stairways, uneven surfaces above and below ground level.
Lifting up to 25 pounds from ground level, waist level and overhead.
Carrying up to 25 pounds for 5 yards.
Bending, kneeling, crouching/squatting while navigating project and operation sites.

Working on client sites supporting industrial manufacturing including converting, pulp/paper, food & beverage, pharmaceutical and semiconductor. Work may be performed at low and/or high elevations and possibilities of confined areas. Exposure to various noise levels caused by power tools, machinery, equipment, etc.
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
