Hello humankindness Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles.DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrows healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students. Responsibilities:

Supervises staff and oversees operations of outpatient clinics within the faculty practice that includes performance of patient care activities and customer service. Supports and implements administrative policies and procedures. Ensures compliance of regulatory and quality programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manages workflow and process assignment including overseeing provision of services by ensuring appropriate staffing is in place on a daily basis and makes adjustments as needed and ensuring appropriate supplies/inventory are available for patient care.
  • Ensures all Dignity Health and SJHMC policies are followed
  • Follows standard operational processes for accounts payable, billing, HR, and other support areas
  • Communicates concerns to practice manager/director for resolution
  • Coordinates practice revenue cycle processes and ensures proper execution, provides reports to leadership and the organization as requested, and assist in developing operational budget and operating within the budget.
  • Maintains practice quality and compliance programs by helping to identify indicators and collects clinical quality data and collecting data for patient satisfaction program and manages resolution of issues and concerns
  • Coordinate new hire process and insures files are complete prior to new hire starting employment
  • Provides input in development and management of budget


Qualifications:

MINIMUM

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in practice operations
  • American Heart Association BLS (required only if providing direct patient care of functioning as back office medical personnel).

PREFERRED

  • BS/BA/BSN
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in practice operations, with at least 1 year as lead or supervisor preferred.
