Description

Danaher manages Workday globally to provide a comprehensive system of record for all associates. To achieve this, we require innovative and dedicated leaders who provide strategic planning, tactical direction, team building and day-to-day oversight. The overarching goal is to build a central team with a forward-thinking operation.

The Core HR and Reporting Manager role serves as owner of Core HR functional design and report configuration management across Workday.  The manager will be responsible for the implementation of HR projects, daily maintenance, and service of Workday. Workday is deployed with a limited scope and the modules will need to be expanded and functionality increased to better support the business. Responsibilities for this position will be to work with HR cross-functionally, cross businesses and collaborating with different teams to ensure Workday is effectively managed and enhanced at an enterprise level. The position will be expected to challenge, change and can affect positive outcomes for the organization on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of core HR functional design, configuration and reporting across Workday
  • Responsible for designing and maintaining documentation of complex core HR and reporting requirements (includes D&I and SOX functionality)
  • Provide oversight to HCM functional support team during the design, build and testing of new or updated functionality 
  • Provide oversight, testing and approval to HCM technical support team for organizational configuration and maintenance updates (e.g., reorganizations, mass loads)
  • Manage and provide leadership for the technical resources who support the break/fix efforts of the core HR security, reporting and organizational application 
  • Develop and manage the processes for ad-hoc report requests, ongoing maintenance and enhancement delivery
  • Assist with testing of integration/security cases and in resolving User “How To” questions and create job aids, learning, & communications
  • Develop and maintain awareness of data security and comply with policies and procedures (working closely with Security Lead)
  • Understand and ensure security and data privacy standards
  • Define security and data privacy protocols and verify that the protocols are being followed across impacted platforms
  • Provide oversight for conducting internal security audits and participate in SOX and/or internal audits where required 
  • Troubleshoot system technical and functional issues and coordinating issue resolution with development, technical, and operations teams

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in HRIS or information technology with demonstrated skills in Human Capital Management (HCM) and compensation systems; Workday preferred
  • Experience in a large, global multi-operating company environment with proven expertise in leading large-scale annual programs, systems, and data
  • Broad range of network and desktop knowledge, including intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated project management skills and resourcefulness to see tasks and initiatives through to completion with limited precedence and minimal guidance
  • Experience with Vendor Management including working with an onshore / offshore model and coordination with 3rd Parties on data related inquiries

  • Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and influence without authority to promote alignment and gain consensus
