A growing Mortgage Insurance company is seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative in the growing Financial Services industry. Do you love building solid customer relationships? Then this position may be for you. This position will take place in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The position is located in Emeryville, California. Headquartered in Emeryville, California, the organization provides innovative risk management solutions and significant insurance capacity geared to support the needs of an evolving housing finance industry. Key Responsibilities - Monitor the Solution Center daily work flow ensuring that the department SLA?s are consistently met. - Participate in performing tasks of intermediate complexity of the group, bringing Management in when appropriate. - Provide assistance to peers in resolving customer inquiries when needed. - Serve a point of contact for other departments when Management is unavailable. - Serve as the initial escalation point for the Solution Center to ensure issues are handled in a timely manner with escalation to Management when appropriate. - Responsible for keeping Management apprised of operations on a daily and weekly basis. - Monitor the Solution Center floor schedule, including breaks and general coverage during scheduled company/department meetings. - Organize and provide training to new employees and current staff when needed in the areas of customer service related methods, procedures and techniques. - Assist Manager in reviewing call volume and documentation in SFDC pertaining to assigned emails and phone inquiries. - Assist Manager in the development and improvement with Solution Center procedures as National MI evolves and grows including suggestions for methods to improve department operations/procedures, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers. - Assist in testing new systems to ensure peak efficiency in the Solution Center. - Attend meetings on behalf of the Solution Center as requested by Management and report back to Management and/or the team. - Responsible for answering calls from National MI?s external customers, which could be related to a broad spectrum of questions. Responsible for answering calls from internal departments, such as Sales, to assist with customer inquiries they have received. - Have a general knowledge of common questions/concerns from customers to effectively answer the questions. The areas of knowledge include IT (assistance with logging in to National MI?s system), Underwriting (loan scenarios, loan status) and Policy and Default Servicing (obtain and provide copies of certificates, provide % of coverage, answer billing questions, etc.). - Effectively communicate with internal staff to maintain a high level of customer service.

Job Requirements

Requirements - Some mortgage experience preferred but not required - Efficient with typing - Client service background ? call center preferred but not required - Computer and Software proficient ? comfortable using multiple applications, Windows based, Loan origination systems (such as Encompass) and SalesForce - Understands and implements ?best in class? service ? culture of the team is providing more than what is expected - Multi-tasking (phone, email, IM, etc.) - Time management - Team oriented - Accountability - Someone that can hit the ground running, and is comfortable with change - Must be self sufficient and see opportunity to better support the customers without being directed to do so - Can-do attitude If you are interested in the Customer Service Representative role, please e-mail your resume to Jonathan Chan at johnathan.chan@officeteam.com today to submit your application.
