Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Henry Ford Health System West Bloomfield Township, MI Full-Time

Henry Ford Health Systems, Department of Womens Health Services, is seeking a board eligible/certified, Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to help expand the current program treating patients of the Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital.

The Department offers Womens Care at 15 suburban medical centers. In addition to general obstetrics and gynecology, the department offers subspecialty care in uro-gynecology, reproductive endocrinology, and infertility, adolescent gynecology and pelvic pain.

Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician General Duties

  • Provide oversight to certified nurse midwives, residents and medical students

  • Manage high risk obstetrical patients

  • Inpatient and outpatient gynecology services such as primary and preventative care, contraception, family planning, pelvis pathological diagnosis and treatment such as abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroid uterus, pelvic pain, endometriosis.

    Opportunities for research as well as academic appointment at Michigan State University as well as neighboring Wayne State University are available.
