Purpose of the Position: Sales leadership and responsibility to drive revenue with independent distributors and amplifying revenue stream. This would include smaller independents within Unipro and to assist with buying groups members within but not limited to Golbon, Frosty Acres, and Legacy Foodservice Alliance; working closely with sales leads for these corporate accounts. To provide administrative support for the Business Development Managers by aligning with Corporate Account goals and strategies, along with Sales Agencies.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibility to develop and grow smaller distributors and provide sales coverage to retain and grow business with a sales budget of $1M annually plus.
Execute digital marketing campaigns, support corporate buying shows (Distributor and GPO), and promote product awareness to drive engagement and close sales.
Report on monthly sales performance as well as lost and gained business reporting.
Lead support and generation for GPO business. Comptrax power user.
Support the Bid process with the sales agency bid department and Custom Culinary® Marketing.
BDM market support for time sensitive requests – may include sample requests, check requests, ONSA /Large program assistance or Blacksmith.
QS Complaints from the Field Team will be facilitated by this role from start to completion keeping BDM /Agency informed.
Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business – or related field
Minimums of two years of proven experience, preferably in the foodservice industry with the ability to sell, educate and promote the Custom Culinary® product line.
Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
Highly customer focused with strong telephone sales skills.
Strong presentation skills – including video selling.
Self-motivated with a high level of drive, energy, persistence and initiative.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
