Responsible for supervising the quality Control functions and personnel to Ensure compliance with customer requirements andor company specifications. assist the QC Manager as directed. interpret quality specifications and Communicate to all applicable departments. Maintain all pertinent records in order to adequately monitor quality performance and standards. Review customer complaints with plant department to assure corrective action measures are applied to prevent reoccurrence. Supervise ware audits and report findings along with recommended corrective action plans. Interact with customers and customer service representative to solve problems and foster strong customer relations. Perform such activities necessary for the effective management of department including the selection and development of employees performs audits and the enforcement of plant rules including plant safety rules. Comply with environmental and Food safety standards as Set forth in plant policiesprograms within department responsibilities. Undergraduate degree required preferably in math or engineering discipline with a minimum three 3 years of quality related experience. Glass Manufacturing plant experience preferred. SAP Lean SixSigma knowledge and Statically Process Control experience preferred. Must have excellent problem solving analytical and communication skills with good team dynamics and possess strong planning and organizational skills. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook.
