Summary of Position The Senior Branch Support Specialist's primary responsibilities are to provide oversight of compliance and preemployment/onboarding support to branch operations, as well as administrative or project support to the managers and staffing teams in a designated territory. Reports to the Market Manager or Area Market Manager. Essential Duties Oversee and ensure consistent onboarding process for contract associates after conditional offer of employment Coordinate with Branch Support Specialists both in and outside of territory to ensure consistency across the organization Lead audit response efforts on behalf of the company, as well as due diligence on responses and auditing Coordinate administrative and compliance support for projects relating to national accounts Partner with internal compliance partners to stay abreast of compliance requirements Ensure pre-employment compliance, including drug and background processing Ensure branches maintain compliance with I-9 and E-verify Verify completion of all onboarding documentation for associates and notify recruiters that candidate can start assignment Keep track of all applications, files, and maintain documentation Assist with payroll preparation Provide administrative or project support to the manager and/or team as requested Comply with all company safety guidelines and processes, reporting known safety issues, including near misses, accidents and potential concerns, to the appropriate supervisor or member of the risk department Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or commensurate level of combined education and experience Demonstrated experience in staffing branch operations Passion for compliance and ethics, as well as process efficiency Ability to communicate in transparent and timely manner Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing) and influence varied stakeholders Experience participating in internal investigations focused on ethics, legal and best business practices Demonstrated ability to define challenges, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Demonstrated ability to train employees at all levels Ability to read contracts and understand obligations of parties Attention to detail Must have a strong technology aptitude Must have working knowledge of labor and employment laws Must have excellent problem solving, organizational, interpersonal and motivational skills Must be able to operate well in a team environment Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, able to handle multiple problems simultaneously Nesco Resource and affiliates (Lehigh G.I.T Inc, and Callos Resource, LLC) is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics with respect to employment opportunities.
