Role Title: Program Manager
 
Hybrid Work: Tues-Thurs in the office. Monday & Friday remote

Work Schedule: Normal EST business hours, Monday - Friday (EST overlap required)

Pay Rate: $50.40-$59.26 per Hr

Project Overview:
This role also supports Android Security and Privacy Team/SPADE (Strategic Programs for Android Defense Enablement) in their mission to protect the Android ecosystem. They collaborate with industry organizations to establish security and privacy standards, and partner with internal teams to develop compliant products.
 
  • Project Management
    1. Work with project leads to maintain project plans and deadlines and provide status reporting
    2. Work with the engineers and lab to coordinate various certification/validation testing
    3. Conduct the regular check ups and update the progress made by team
    4. Draft slide deck based on progress
    5. Maintain program adoption tracking against OKR metrics / goals
    6. Drive certification (1P& 3P) adoption via developer outreach and marketing activities (case studies, one-pagers, direct comms)
    7. Manage lab Working Group meetings by providing active note taking, agenda setting and driving deliverables across all members 
  • Standard Organization/consortium participation: 
    1. Maintain updated documentation of the reports/tech specs for the critical products
    2. Draft and maintain schedules for the standards meetings that team participates in
    3. Create and maintain detailed documentation of all processes and contact information necessary for the services.
    4. Draft Process documentation for internal business teams to review
  • Technical Writing
    1. Write help content based on user needs with limited resources
    2. Edit current help content using style guidance
    3. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate
    4. Work with stakeholders to maintain project plans and deadlines 
    5. Maintain the highest levels of technical writing practices including clean and modular documentation/communications.
    6. Gather newsletter content submissions and structure content with a clear narrative focus that hooks reader interest
    7. Adhere to basic writing best practices to keep newsletter content concise and meet privacy requirements
    8. Collaborate with website owners to maintain content accuracy

Overall Responsibilities: 
  • Program Execution: Drive the successful completion of well-defined projects and processes, ensuring timely delivery of team objectives.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Foster collaboration and consensus among stakeholders, effectively managing expectations and addressing challenges.
  • Program Governance: Support established program governance frameworks, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Program Planning: Develop comprehensive program plans, outlining phases, tasks, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Process Execution: Efficiently execute existing team-level projects and processes, working closely with experienced program managers.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation measures.
  • Communication: Clearly communicate project status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders.
  • Data Management: Centralize project information, including stakeholders, plans, objectives, tasks, risks, schedules, and dependencies.
  • Objective Prioritization: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize project objectives, ensuring alignment with overall program goals.
  • Task Estimation: Estimate task durations and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Schedule Alignment: Ensure project schedules and dependencies are coordinated to support project objectives.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

Coordinate with program stakeholders to ensure alignment with the program's goals and timeline.
  1. Drive regular engagement with team members to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
  2. Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the program's progress.
Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory BA/BS Degree
2 of years of minimum experience managing projects
Experience in Communication Management, Execution and Governance, Planning, Stakeholder Management
Experience in handling cross functional teams consisting of business and technical resources
Experience using various project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and tailoring the approach for program success
Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites)

Desired Experience with Mobile applications
Security/privacy background, standards participation/development

Skill Matrix

Pay Details: $50.00 to $59.00 per hour
