Interim Transactional Paralegal

Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an Interim Transactional Paralegal. This is a temporary position expected to last 3-6+ months in Herndon, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Responsible for reviewing contracts, discussing contracts with business teams, performing contract administration/contract management responsibilities and project management.
  • Ensure that legal matters are managed properly.
  • Provide leadership in mitigation of risk and meets regulatory compliance matters.
  • Assist in the development, delivery and documentation of regulatory compliance awareness training programs for Company employees.
  • Assist in implementing, maintaining, and improving corporate governance processes.
  • Prepare and circulate legal documentation and policies.
  • Assist with matter management for litigation files and law enforcement demands.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor's Degree required with a Paralegal certificate preferred.
  • 5+ year’s work experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate law department.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is required. LATAM experience would also be ideal.
  • Experience in contracts administration and review.
  • Demonstrated experience performing legal support duties.
  • Ability to work in a global environment across multiple time zones.
