National Sales Assistant

The Opportunity

Premion, a leading "Over-the-Top" advertising and media business seeks a talented and dedicated National Sales Assistant who will assist with our Premion Direct Sales Team. If you're the right candidate, you will have the opportunity to be a part of growing a dynamic "startup" oriented business in a fast-growing and emerging segment of the OTT video advertising business. This position will be responsible for coordinating client orders through the entry and invoicing process. The role reports directly to a Regional Sales Director (RSD) with a dotted line reporting to the Sales Operations Manager. The role works closely with the Premion Direct Sales and Planning teams.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities include:

  • Working with Sales on lead generation and proposal creations
  • Developing and maintaining opportunities in Salesforce
  • Accessing and processing orders in client buying systems such as Media Ocean or Strata
  • Booking template coordination and completion, if requested by Sales
  • Setup Advertisers/Agencies with TMACS (WO Portal) and provide completed New Client Forms to Prem Billing
  • Maintain account record defaults in Salesforce
  • Manual invoice preparation on the rare occasion clients request invoice formats that require manual preparation
  • Working with billing manager and others on other specific client billing requests
  • Acting as an account service contact for select clientele
  • Workflow management between client services teams
  • Occasional Wide Orbit reporting, as requested by RSD
  • Travel & Expense submission if requested by RSD



Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field
  • 2+ years' experience in media ad sales preferred
  • Strong analytical, and basic mathematical abilities
  • A self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-moving start-up environment, and managing a high volume of activity.
  • Must be a dedicated, trustworthy, and dependable team member with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
  • Must be detail-oriented and maintain a high level of accuracy in all related work.
  • Must possess a natural curiosity to learn new things and be adaptable to a consistently evolving environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Prior experience in digital media, media sales, or Ad Agency environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or CRM software preferred.
  • Knowledge of Strata and Media Ocean is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Wide Orbit is preferred.
  • Travel: Rarely: less than 10%
  • Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment
  • Physical Demands Set: Sedentary work: Involves sitting most of the time; walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
