Our client, the developers of an award-winning racing franchise, is seeking an experienced Community Manager / Enforcement Specialist to help foster and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for their community. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing content and player behavior, working with a group of community enforcement volunteers, and creating and updating corresponding documentation as needed.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Foster a welcoming community
  • Monitor, review, and enforce community-generated content (including, but not limited to, vehicle liveries, in-game photographs & videos, etc.)
  • Set and enforce guidelines for appropriate player behavior, both in game and in owned channels outside of the game (including livestreams, Social Media, Forums, etc.)
  • Work with community team and volunteers to create a consistent understanding of enforcement guidelines
  • Work with volunteer community members for content moderation efficiency and effectiveness
  • Create and update documentation regarding enforcement processes and guidelines as necessary
  • Collaborate with internal teams on enforcement-related tools and processes
  • Provide regular reporting on key enforcement related metrics to stakeholders
  • Write cohesive documentation for instructions and guidelines
Requirements:
  • Understanding of age-appropriate assessment criteria and guidelines
  • 4+ years of experience in moderation and enforcement within gaming communities
  • Experience handling user generated content and issues
  • Must be familiar with bestselling racing games
  • Ability to work independently in a multi-discipline environment
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-starter, organized, largely independent from day to day with experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in this type of environment and ability to jump in and manage the ban queue

  • Awareness and understanding of gaming culture
  • Ability to independently prioritize tasks to meet goals
  • Ability to work across internal teams and stakeholders as appropriate
