Machine Operator "Switch"

SelectStaffing Hayward, CA Full Time

Machine Operator "Switch" Healthcare Assembly 

Machine operators (Switches) perform typical operations and assembly within an
assigned Production Cell in a clean room injection molding facility.

First Shift: $19.50/hr

6:00am - 2:15pm

Second Shift: $20.50/hr

2:00pm - 10:15pm

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Audit all Team Members for standardized work
• Meet the expectations and standardized work to complete all tasks at
assigned machine or operation.
• Strong visual capabilities to identify and distinguish product clarity and
defects while monitoring the product process
• Communicate, detect and report defective materials or questionable
conditions to the Production Supervisor, Cell Lead, or other Switches
• Sort, rework and inspect the products for reject and non-conformance;
packages finished products
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and
follows prescribed safety regulations; follows 5s-cleans and organizes
designated area(s) on a daily basis.
• Make suggestions on improvements for standardized work/other plant
• Use cutters, blades or fixtures to rework or assemble parts
• Follow all safety procedure and participates in safety programs; follows all
PPE requirements-proper gowning and attire

• Six months related experience and/or working in a fast-paced environment
either training or equipment t combination
• Be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the
required operator / assembly tasks;
Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; label printer/photocopier
