The Renfrew Center has been a pioneer in the treatment of eating disorders since 1985. As the nation’s first residential eating disorder facility, now with 19 locations throughout the country, Renfrew has helped more than 75,000 women with eating disorders and other behavioral health issues.

Position Responsibilities:

- Provide consultation to the Admission Department on the medical clearance for potential admissions.

- Complete medical history and physical examinations on all admissions.

- Provide ongoing medical management including medical treatment of residential patients with eating disorders, including the ordering of tests, procedures, and medications, nursing support and supervision

- Able to work closely with other departments including psychiatry, nursing, clinical, and admissions.

- Be on-call (not physically present) to the nursing staff for medical issues that arise off hours in evenings, nights and weekends.

Education, Competencies and Credentials:

- ARNP/CRNP with 2 years minimum nursing experience required in a medical field.

- Current state license and CPR/AED certification required. Online only CPR certification not acceptable.

Hours:  10 hrs. per week plus one weekend at 4 hours per month.
