Under the general guidance of the physicians/providers performs a variety of diagnostic ultrasonographic procedures.

Minimum Education
High School Diploma or equivalent X Required
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program. X Required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)-American Heart Association X Required
If BLS is not with American Heart Association, the employee has 30 days to obtain it.
Must posses American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography ARDMS Certifications or registry eligible
If registry eligible must obtain one of the following credentials within 18 months of hire date
(AB) Abdomen, (BR) Breast (OB/GYN) Obstetrics & Gynecology, or RVT Registered Vascular Technologist
Minimum Work Experience
2 years of experience preferred
