Job qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum (1) year professional experience preferably in hospitality/catering industry
- Event planning experience is required
- Able to make independent decisions that conform to business needs and policy.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills required.
- Experience planning events/lunches/dinner events, planned menu for these meetings
- Excellent organizational skills required.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and complete all projects in a timely manner.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Professional attire and demeanor required.
- Good written communication skills.
- Good problem -solving skills, with the ability and understanding of when to escalate a problem to a supervisory level.

Job duties
HOSPITALITY
- Oversee the daily function of and cleanliness of 2 service pantries and 12 pantries
- Coordinates daily schedule for all catering and beverage setups
- Sets daily, weekly and monthly goals
- Enforces policies and procedures
- Manages all hospitality inventory
- Order all supplies food & beverage and pantry
- Sources new hospitality items
- Research new vendors and caterers
- Direct contact for all Wine and beer selections for meeting and events
- Manage supplier relationships
- Provide any follow up reporting on all hospitality details and weekly and monthly reports
EVENTS
- Directs and oversees all meeting and events
- Oversees all Food and Beverage / catering orders
- Curates aesthetically pleasing event layouts
- Direct contact for all Wine and beer selections for meeting and events
- Point of contact for all Event Teams
- Plans, executes and manages all logistics of courtesy meetings and events
- Ensure all meeting and events are meeting and exceeding client expectations
- Monitor timelines and deadlines related to all aspects of events
- Manage registration process and oversee security lists for events
- Ensure all logistical details are in place; room setup, BEO’s, presentations, registration, marketing materials.
- Provide any follow up reporting post event
