Maintenance Technician
Maintenance Technician
FULL-TIME
$25.71/hr
Maintenance Mechanics perform a variety of activities to maintain plant equipment and facilitites in optimum operating condition.
These activities include but are not limited to:
Following all safety rules and practices
Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring run out, calibrating dials, aligning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise level
Performing emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
Accurately using measurement and test equipment
Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed
Maintaining clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks
Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork
Maintaining teamwork with other associates
Performing other duties as assigned by supervision
Individual must possess the following qualifications:
Requires strong mechanical skills and aptitude
Strong troubleshooting skills
Written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Preferred skills in pneumatics, electrical, PLC and hydraulics
High School Diploma or GED required
Post High School training preferred
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices
Well-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills and experience
Ability to learn; and the abiity to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team
Corrugated Industry Maintenance Experience preferred
Must be willing to work OT including Saturdays as needed
Schedule
Shift start: 7:00AM
Shift length: 0 hours
