Grants Management Specialist @ FEMA

ABS Group is currently searching for an enthusiastic, initiative-taking Grants Management Specialist to support FEMA.

Project Description: Support recovery efforts following the Calf Canyon / Hermits Peak Fire in New Mexico.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with FEMA counterparts, setting up the grants management process
  • Ensuring FEMA systems align with agency’s expectations
  • Manage grant processes, in communication with impacted communities
  • Monitor and assess quality processes
  • Developing new processes where needed, in conjunction with already existing systems of record

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years experience with grants management, preferably in emergency management
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Location: Ideally New Mexico or Washington, D.C. Open to remote.
