A successful, stable, and growing environmental firm in San Jose is looking for an AP Manager to join their team. This position plays a vital role in the accounting team to take care all AP functions and managing a team of 4 AP clerks. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of managerial experience, has experience with creating and implementing new AP procedures or PO system, and have excellent communication. Manage full cycle AP process, including Capex Policy, Requisitions, Authorization Matrix, Corporate office (centralized accounting) and Purchase Order systems. ? Motivate and manage AP staff to meet corporate deadlines. ? Support and advice peripheral AP functions, credit cards and business unit administrators (~15). ? Provide assistance with process improvements and month end close. ? Understanding of General Ledger (COA) account coding. ? Ability to resolve Vendor issues and reconcile accounts. ? Payable disbursements are timely and accurate. ? Vendor statement reconciliations are current (30 days) and accurate. ? Review credit applications. ? Provide support for bank audits. ? Track W9 and process year end 1099s. ? Other assigned projects are managed timely and accurately

Job Requirements

- Must have at least 5 years of AP managerial experience - Progressive AP experience is a huge plus - Knowledge of creating new policies and procedures in AP - Strong written and verbal communication - Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus, not a requirement For immediate consideration, please submit your updated resume to maresela.ramos@roberthalf.com
