Financial Operations Manager

3-6 Month Contract

Role Purpose

Responsible for reporting a robust set of monthly financial results for assigned legal entities

The role will be constantly changing and will require the ability to create new processes that are efficient and meet the required controls environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities and strong technical knowledge. They will enjoy improving and streamlining processes and will have the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to stakeholders.

Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities

Month end Reporting

Complete the production of timely and accurate monthly results for assigned area including liaising with 3rd party providers in assigned area.

Perform analysis of results to ensure completeness / accuracy and be able to explain key trends and movements.

Understand complex customer contracts and ensure accuracy of accountancy

Prepare accurate and timely account reconciliation, including investigating and resolving reconciling items

Provide detailed analysis of the results to the business, giving insight into the drivers behind the trends

Stakeholder engagement/Communication

Be able to communicate results to stakeholders in the business, both inside and outside finance.

To work closely with finance team to ensure confidence in the Fin ops numbers and provide insight. Build a solid and trusted relationship with finance team.

Work with the business to resolve billing/commercial queries
