Position SummaryAs a Scientist II, Nonclinical Safety, you'll play an important role in the nonclinical safety strategies for both small and large molecule discovery and development programs. You will be a key member on multidisciplinary teams within Research and Development represent the toxicology function.ResponsibilitiesTrain to serve as project toxicologist on discovery and development project teamsAct as Study Monitor of non-GLP and GLP studiesIdentify and manage CROs for non-GLP and GLP studies to ensure timely delivery of actionable nonclinical dataDesign, oversee and evaluate protocols for toxicology studies to help advance small and large molecule targetsAnalyze, interpret, and summarize nonclinical safety data; present and contextualize findingsCollaborate closely with research teams and project teams; directly contribute to and represent nonclinical operations on internal and external project teamsDesign and implement target de-risking, screening, issue mitigation, and resolution strategies for toxicities observed in vivoQualifications and Skills RequiredDVM or PhD degree required5+ years in nonclinical safety in the pharmaceutical industryExperience with small and large molecule drug discovery and developmentStrong knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices, FDA, and ICH guidelinesProficient in Microsoft Office.Professional, proactive demeanor.Strong interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.#LI-REMOTE Our ValuesTransparency: We value collaboration. The base salary offered may vary based on the final candidate's qualifications.
