Restaurant General Manager

Horizon Hospitality Chicago, IL (Onsite) Full-Time
Derived Salary: $41K - $110K/Year

We are currently seeking a talented Restaurant General Manager for an award-winning restaurant in Downtown Chicago. This concept incorporates cuisines from around the world in an elevated and finely curated space. Owned and operated by an industry-leading hospitality management company, this group offers significant room for advancement. Base Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 (Commensurate with experience) + 25% bonus potential, comprehensive health benefits, 401k with company match, and much more!



Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years of high-volume upscale restaurant management experience
  2. Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task with ease
  3. Ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  4. Experience with Micros POS, Avero Slingshot, Coyle, Bevintel, ADP, and Hoteschedules is a big plus
  5. Local or willing to relocate to the Chicago market


Responsibilities:

  1. Manage operational efficiency, quality of service, and guest satisfaction
  2. Interview, hire, train, and mentor all restaurant staff members
  3. Oversee financial planning, tracking, and forecasting
  4. Communicate effectively with employees and management regarding upcoming inspections, vendor deliveries, and high-profile guests
  5. Work with the social media and marketing team on upcoming advertising and branding
