**Compensation Overview**
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

**What Is the Opportunity?**
As a member of the QuantumSubro leadership team, this position will be responsible and accountable for creating and directing business development and marketing strategies for QuantumSubro as well as the development and ongoing stewardship of strong client relationships. The role will directly influence the growth of QuantumSubro across all markets. The role will develop, design, document and recommend marketing and sales solutions while leading implementation to drive profitable growth. Responsible for leading the strategy through matrix leadership. May lead others
This is a hybrid position that can be located out of any Travelers claim center office location nationwide.

**What Will You Do?**
Claim Strategy:
+ As part of the QuantumSubro leadership team, develops and direct the immediate and long-term business development and marketing strategies to achieve profit and growth objectives through responsible marketing, sound pricing evaluation, and contract development.
+ Collaborates across Claim and the Enterprise to develop and direct national/international business development strategies and marketing plans to support the profitable growth of QuantumSubro and strong retention of existing clients through the stewardship of strong customer relationships.
+ Builds and maintains strong partnerships across Claim and Enterprise Underwriting, Marketing and Communication teams. Maintains ongoing interaction with each of these teams for the development of relevant and current marketing assets.
+ Partners with others to identify new business development opportunities and develop prospective client pipelines through relationship development within key markets.
+ Accountable for vendor strategies and responds to providers of Request for Proposals (RFP's) and moves qualified opportunities for new business through the RPF process. Leads the proposal development process, delivery of business development presentations, contract development and the onboarding of new accounts across all aspects, internal and external. Accountable for vendor strategies including vendor selection, negotiation and contracting.
+ Manages the account stewardship process involving appropriate internal resources and conduct/attend meetings as necessary (i.e., Transition Meetings, Midterm reviews, and Renewal Meetings) to facilitate a strong account partnership. Intervenes as necessary to ensure commitments are fulfilled.
+ Develops and maintains strong account relationships and remains a focal point for service initiatives and delivery to the clients. Becomes the primary service contact for legislative, regulatory or market issues that may alter the QuantumSubrogation service approach.
+ Facilitates the coordination of a timely and smooth renewal process by involving key QuantumSubrogation leaders as well as Claim and Enterprise teams.
Claim Practices & Field Support:
+ Partners with QuantumSubrogation leadership, the Field, Claim Resources and Senior Leadership to share account/market feedback to improve Claim processes and practices.
+ Proactively identifies new business development opportunities by staying current with industry trends and by attending relevant industry conferences to identify innovative opportunities for marketing and sales plan adjustments.
+ Directs industry analysis and bench-marking studies including incorporating industry benchmark outcomes into relevant marketing materials to position QS as the industry leading choice.
+ Shares market insights and account feedback for the adjustment of claim practices, marketing strategy and customer service as appropriate to anticipate, respond to, and manage trends.
+ Attends various seminars and conferences as appropriate.
+ Partners with Claim University on the development and design of technical claim training strategies, programs and curriculum around the QuantumSubrogation strategy.
+ Partners with the QuantumSubrogation leadership team, Field Management, Business Intelligence Analytics and Claim Finance on loss pick development, packaging of proposal, pricing, and all other activities as part of the quote process to limit financial risk associated with claim costs.
+ Serves as a contact and technical resource to field and business partners on compliance and regulatory issues, program and/or procedural issues.
+ Provides field claim management guidance on legislative, regulatory, and market conduct issues.
+ Shares accountability with the QuantumSubrogation leadership team and Claim business partners to support profit through account growth and expense management practices while achieving sand sustaining quality results.
Business Process, Workflow and Technology:
+ Analyzes and assesses results to identify areas with improvement opportunities as well as review the feasibility of new workflows, vendor products and services.
+ Makes recommendations and leads initiatives to improve overall product effectiveness and future utilization.
+ Directs the creation, implementation, and maintenance of claim handling guidelines, policies, procedures and processes.
+ Partners with Business to assist in developing and implementing claim policy language and endorsement changes.
+ Manages the investigation of new technology and the application of same for improving business process, increasing productivity and cost effectiveness.
+ Provides technical knowledge and project coordination on large-scale claim programs, workflows and systems projects.
Business Partner Support:
+ Builds and maintains strong partnerships with Underwriting, Product Management, Marketing, and Actuarial and across the Enterprise to drive business results.
+ Leadership:
+ Assists in developing team goals and drives strategies to meet business objectives.
+ May be required to participate in our Catastrophe Response Program which could include deployment away to assist customers in other states.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?**
+ Bachelor's degree or CPCU preferred.
+ Travel will be required for this role and may be up to or beyond 25%. Travel would be anywhere across the US as well as local driving required and would include international travel (Canada).
+ 5-7 years experience with business development or client servicing experience as well as Claim handling experience with exposure to/or handling subrogation claims including knowledge of coverage and liability issues.
+ Previous leadership experience preferred.
+ Comprehensive financial acumen and analysis skills preferred.
+ Comprehensive knowledge and skills in identifying and analyze alternative business strategies preferred.
