The Customer Service Associate is responsible for receiving and resolving customer concerns and complaints. Entering data regarding each call received and following up with customers regarding the resolution of their concerns or complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Details
- HYBRID ** Not fully remote** and training will be onsite
Summary/Objective:
The Customer Service Associate is responsible for receiving and resolving customer concerns and complaints. Entering data regarding each call received and following up with customers regarding the resolution of their concerns or complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Handle all customer phone calls(inbound/outbound) with highest level of professionalism
- Assist customers with information about products and services, placing orders, canceling accounts, filing complaints etc.
- Ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems
- Keep records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken in the computer system
- Resolve customer complaints and comments, forwarding as necessary to the Customer Service Supervisor
- Explain contract terms accurately in simple language so that customer can understand the explanation and how it applies to their particular question
- Follow-up with customers and internal management to ensure the satisfactory resolution of customer services issues
- Troubleshoot and navigate clients through online portal
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager
Competencies:
- Communicate with people before, in, or after their time of need
- Develop solutions to client issues
- Understanding of products and services offered by the company
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work with a team to provide service and meet deadlines
- Experience handling difficult situations with confidence and compassion
- Ability to use consultative selling techniques - customer/client focus
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and record-keeping skills
- Ability to multi-task and navigate multiple systems at once
- Ability to build long-lasting relationships
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Requirements & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- 1 + years of call center experience
- 2+ years of administrative support experience
- Knowledge of rules and regulations for the memorial services profession
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience in the industry
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
