Reporting to the GVP/VP/Consulting Senior Director, the successful candidate will be part of the Enterprise Architecture/Design Authority group, responsible for different business and technical solutions implemented for large and critical client programs. The critical client projects can include implementation of varied Oracle products comprising of on-premise and cloud solutions spanning across SaaS, PaaS and IaaS solutions. Enterprise Architect is expected to engage with different application and solution leads, architects of each pillar application both from project and client teams, in driving the architecture discussions, guiding the teams towards a future state solution across multiple applications, documenting the architecture and socializing it with the groups across the program. Enterprise Architect is expected to present the defined architecture and solutions to different client teams, project team members and to the executives as required.
**Essential Role Key Aspects:**
+ Defines and leads the overall proposition to maximise value to the customer, proposing a business driver aligned architecture and customer capability enablers.
+ Articulates the oracle proposition in a customer relevant manner (aligned to their industry, their strategy).
+ Leverages Oracles full product portfolio, collaborating across Oracle organization divisions and with /pillar/product line architecture.
+ Represents Oracle's viewpoint in wider Customer design, architecture and strategy groups.
+ Represents Oracle's proposed architecture in senior partner discussions e.g. with SI Client Partner or big 4 partner or strategic consulting firms.
+ Provides cloud & technology strategy input and constructive challenge to those responsible for customer capability design and enablement of major programs and customer technology teams.
+ Liaises with Oracle Product Management on Oracle strategy/direction fit / informing future Oracle strategy.
+ Manages the complexity of the solution and provides a complete end-to-end architecture that links the proposition to customer business value.
+ Identify potential risk and problem areas and develop procedures that provide effective workarounds to the problem at hand.
+ Develop detailed specifications including; enterprise integration diagrams or blueprints, application configuration and requirements.
+ Does required research in providing the right architecture, guides and provides best practices and resolves architecture conflicts between groups by engaging the teams in architecture discussions.
+ Train other oracle resources and guide them as per project needs.
+ Produce Integration and Technical Architecture Documents to include Conceptual Technical Models, Platform, Performance, Security, Operational Requirements, Integration and Interface Requirements.
+ Work with client's business teams to capture requirements and build integration solutions accordingly.
+ Be an onsite technical lead and co-ordinate with offshore team to accomplish activities when needed.
+ Works with peers and a matrix of other team members across different Oracle organizations to improve products, delivery and to expand the capabilities of services provided to Oracle customers.
+ Serves as advisory-level to pre-sales and post-sales technical support teams as needed.
**Looking for an individual who can:**
+ Act as an expert in a core set of Oracle products & solutions and presenting the value proposition of the solutions to Oracle's partners, prospects and customers and internally to our sales force.
+ Identify adoption blockers and inhibitors and working with Product Management, Development and other teams to execute on plans to remove them.
+ Create collateral such as blogs, whitepapers. Conduct workshops, architecture sessions and document architecture documents for end to end solutions, enterprise integrations etc. to enable our customers and partners on Oracle Technologies.
+ Engage with strategic and more complex customers, building leadership relationships at multiple levels within organizations in order to design and implement solutions.
**The ideal candidate will have:**
+ A bachelor's degree and approximately 10+ years of related work experience; or a graduate degree (MBA or MS degree preferred) and approximately 5 years of related work experience
+ 5 - 10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture roles working in large multiple product implementations with specific experience in software development life cycles, integration architecture, design and development.
+ Leadership skills managing multiple teams/architects in a managerial and enterprise architecture strategist role.
+ Proven track record in designing and deploying enterprise integration architectures, expertise in range of domains like: api-led approach, micro services, enterprise SOA models, ETLs and large data movement.
+ At least 5 years of implementation experience with leading Enterprise integration software's such Oracle SOA, Oracle Integration Cloud etc.
+ Experience with defining enterprise integration strategies and establishing software development life cycle and Devops to implement the defined strategies.
+ Experience with enterprise governance models, addressing security and compliance requirements.
+ Knowledge of testing approaches like regression, end-to-end and performance testing.
+ Experience with establishing monitoring and management frameworks
+ Working knowledge and experience in understanding of enterprise applications and enterprise IT areas such Oracle Applications, Master Data Management, Business Intelligence-Analytics
+ Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise business processes.
+ Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and providing strategic and tactical recommendations. Ability to communicate technical components with clarity
+ Flexibility and willingness to travel.
+ Knowledge in at least one of the below areas.
+ Oracle Utilities products like C2M, NMS, CC&B, MDM.
+ Oracle Construction domain products like Primavera, Unifier
+ Oracle Fusion application products like Fusion ERP, CX etc.
+ Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and in technologies like OAC, IDCS, and Object Storage etc. is a plus.
