The brand new Conrad DC hotel is seeking an In-Room Dining Manager!
Located in the heart of urban DC, this stylish and sophisticated property is bringing a new standard of luxury to DC with 360 rooms, 32,000 square feet of banquet space, and 5 food and beverage outlets. This includes a restaurant by celebrity Chefs Bryan and Michael Voltaggio - these two are James Beard award winners and 'Top Chef' finalists bringing the seafood of the Chesapeake to the heart of the District through a farm-to-table experience.
In this role, you will oversee the Room Service Department managing a team of 10.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader with great energy and passion, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. At least 2-3 years of hotel food and beverage leadership experience and a background in upscale and/or luxury dining is required. Prior Forbes and union experience are a plus.

What will I be doing?
As In-Room Dining Manager, you will direct and organize the activities of Room Service to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and service to maximize profits through outstanding customer server. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and discipline In Room Dining service staff for the efficient operation of the outlet.
Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings
Maximize In Room Dining profitability, implement effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs, and monitor the In Room Dining budget to ensure efficient operations, including achieving budgeted revenue and labor expenses.
Visually monitor and take corrective action to ensure food quality and service standards are met. Provide guidance for improvement and implement necessary adjustments for consistency.
Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer satisfaction of In Room Dining; recommend new operational policies and procedures when necessary to keep up with demand and market changes. Investigate and resolve food quality and service complaints. Interact positively with customers.
Ensure compliance with Hilton and Conrad policies and procedures that relate to In Room Dining, as well as all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
