RF Engineer - Entry Level - Orlando, FL

Lockheed Martin Corporation Orlando, FL (Onsite) Full-Time

Description: Candidate will participate in the RF Systems Engineering "Early Career" program which is focused on development of key RF Systems Engineering skills applicable to the company's product portfolio. Candidate will perform a variety of RF Systems Engineering tasks and assignments that will promote the development of their technical and strategic engineering, leadership and interpersonal skills in a structured framework within the engineering disciplines, such as Electrical, and Systems.


Basic Qualifications:


Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college in Engineering with less than two (2) years of professional experience. A proven track record of leadership as well as a propensity for solving complex technical problems and has good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work in a team environment. Engineering candidate must understand a smith chart and FRIIS transmission equation. Considered an Early Career position.


Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.


Desired Skills:


● Must have good communication skills, be able to effectively work in a team environment, capable of solving complex problems, and be able to focus on the complete product and the full life cycle of the product. Interest in weapon system development or fire control development and a proven track record of leadership.


● Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++ is desired. Strong background in mathematics and proficiency in MATLAB or a related simulation tool is preferred.


● Course work or related experience in couplers, filters, LNA and antenna designs. Able to calculate cascaded system noise figure. Able to read antenna polar plot pattern. Familiar with the radar range equation.


Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.


Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.


Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
