Job Description

We are seeking individuals to join our team who have high standards and a desire to positively impact the lives of others.

Summary:

Supervision, protection and care of children individually and in groups at all times. Assist each child in working with a group and in handling individual problems. Administration of behavior support and intervention and setting of limits per Penny Lane policy and procedure. Notation of the child's progress; identification of the possible need for professional services; and communication of such findings to professional staff. Knowledge of agency policy procedure and treatment program and the implementation of such programs. Maintain staff to client ratio at all times, and other job duties as assigned by Program Director/Executive Director. Transporting of clients to and from school as well as other destinations as required.


Position Location: North Hills, CA


Salary Range: $15.07 up to $17.95 per hour

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or higher.
  • Or less than a B.A. degree and 4 years full time paid experience working with adolescents in a group home, residential, juvenile hall or mental health setting.
  • Valid California driver's license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization's insurance company.
