Position Summary

The Financial Analyst, FP&A will be a key FP&A and analytics resource to the organization. As a key FP&A resource, this role will provide in-depth and detailed analytics and actionable insight into  reporting and analytics as well as play an integral role in full Financial Reporting, Analysis and Forecasting. Reporting to the Manager, FP&A.  This position will have to balance detailed and advanced analytical skills with keen accounting acumen to develop a deep understanding of the industry and business dynamics.  

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and extend detailed, accurate, and efficient data models that provide actionable insights from the most detailed levels up to division-wide summary views. This will include the ability to summarize findings in compelling and easy-to-understand dashboards and reports.
  • Own reporting relationship with Corporate FP&A for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting as well as budget / forecast templates
  • Collect and analyze industry and general economic data to support longer-term strategic planning
  • Perform regular and ad hoc analytics around division-wide profitability and financial performance, including working across the finance team to establish and deliver consistent reporting templates and insightful analytics.
  • Support division-wide projects and initiatives that may include system implementations or upgrades, process improvements, M&A initiatives, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or other applicable Masters-level degree preferred
  • Passion for reporting excellence
  • 5+ years of work experience with 3+ years of experience with financial reporting and analytics
  • Advanced / Expert-level Excel skills and demonstrable ability to efficiently create advanced data models
  • Experience with other advanced data analytic and visualization tools preferred
  • Experience with a leading ERP system (especially SAP) and the ability to query and directly access transactional level data tables strongly preferred
  • Experience with Oracle Hyperion considered a plus
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task efficiently and take ownership with projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive duties.
  • Outgoing and assertive in seeking out information and inputs across the organization.
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrable ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
