The Account Development Executive will be responsible for new account development by gaining new Employer customers or adding products/services or negotiating opportunity with existing customers. This position may partner with brokers, associations, unions, etc. in order to gain Employer customers. The individual selected will work closely with AFA (AFES and AWD) field staff to sell products and services to existing and prospective AFA customers.
Develop opportunities by meeting with employers, unions, and other stakeholders to sell the AF proposition, discuss our array of products and services, and secure a commitment to offer new products and services to their employees in order to meet and/or exceed required sales quota.
Attend and oversee enrollments for groups to ensure enrollment and setup is done seamlessly for our new customers. Assist with troubleshooting, and any other issues that may arise during the enrollment.
Work with the employer and any third parties throughout the enrollment process to ensure success, including unions, brokers, etc.
Work with Sales Managers to discuss any issues that arise with the employer or related third parties during the enrollment.
Bachelor’s Degree or 120 hours of college credit Preferred
7-10 Years working in employee benefits, preferably selling administrative or consulting services to employers. Proven track record in sales and building rapport with Home Office Colleagues and Customers.
Must reside in the state of Texas
