The role of Marketing at WTW is two-fold to support the company's growth and revenue goals and protect and promote a consistent global brand. As trusted partners to all business segments and regions, the marketing group functions as an integrated global team providing comprehensive support through well-planned and executed marketing campaigns.
In this position, you will report to the Health, Wealth & Career (HWC) segment marketing head with oversight of specific HWC businesses, some globally and some North America only, and also lead a team of approximately 5 marketing colleagues. The colleague will need to develop strong working relationships with business stakeholders, understand the business and go-to-market solutions, balance priorities and be a strong communicator to ensure marketing provides proper support. Together with senior business leaders and marketing colleagues worldwide, a successful candidate in this role will build and execute effective marketing campaigns that bring thought leadership, collateral, webcasts, events, and a compelling digital presence to life with a primary goal of supporting revenue growth for HWC businesses.

**The Role**
+ Devise and deliver strategic marketing plans by collaborating with business leaders and relevant marketing colleagues across key HWC businesses both globally and in North America
+ Provide informed advice and guidance on marketing programs and supporting tactics, including digital marketing activities, event marketing, thought-leadership, 3rd party partnerships and initiatives
+ Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities by analyzing the outcomes using relevant marketing data and analytics; make recommendations to improve future marketing initiatives
+ Create demand for HWC businesses by mapping out comprehensive marketing funnels that generate leads and improve conversion rates via marketing automation tools like Marketo
+ Communicate effectively with team members, internal clients, and marketing colleagues to set expectations, promote client-ready solutions, and coordinate/leverage activities
+ Bring ideas, coordinate and execute thought-leadership content plans and calendars
+ Develop and maintain a good understanding of the full range of services and solutions provided to clients as well as the different markets and buyer hubs that exist across HWC and WTW
+ Maintain awareness of the competitive environment and understand how marketing strategy and plans achieve differentiation and/or a strong presence in the market
+ Deliver campaigns within budget and manage costs to ensure planned expenditure is met
+ Set objectives for direct reports and ensure they remain on track; help develop skills of team members; manage with empathy
+ Contribute to HWC marketing leadership team
**The Requirements**
+ 15+ years of marketing experience is essential, ideally gained within professional/financial services or a B2B environment
+ Outstanding written and verbal English language skills
+ Proven experience in digital marketing and marketing communications across a broad spectrum of offline and online media (e.g., print, email marketing)
+ Proven experience with relevant subject matter as well as working across multiple geographies and/or globally
+ Proven experience managing effective teams
+ Exceptional stakeholder management skills and demonstrated success at building relationships and credibility with senior leaders
+ Credibility to work with, and influence, colleagues at all levels within the company
+ Demonstrated ability to learn about complex business issues and priorities and translate them into marketing execution
+ Strong team player with positive attitude, good influencing and negotiation skills and a proven track record of providing support to team members and building collaborative relationships
+ Strong ability to navigate a large, complex organization and to ask questions as needed
